Today, U.S. Representative Barry Moore (AL-02) issued the following statement on H.R. 5, The Equality Act:

"This legislation deprives businesses, families, and organizations of their Constitutional right to religious freedom. Forcing individuals to disregard their moral beliefs to appease Democrats' radical policies is wrong. We must protect our values before they are stripped away forever. I cannot support this massive federal overreach that infringes on millions of Americans' rights in the name of equality and political correctness."
