Protecting our environment and transitioning to a clean energy future is one of the utmost paramountcy.
As the Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Telecommunications in 2018, Frank was a key stakeholder in the passage of An Act to Advance Clean Energy. This legislation increased protections for solar energy users, boosted our state's Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard by 2% per year, placed restrictions on the use of dirty energy by utility companies, laid the groundwork for offshore wind procurement, and much more.
Frank has been a strong proponent of efforts to transition Massachusetts to 100% clean energy and has been an advocate on this matter for many years.
