My family and I remember how life changed overnight during the "08 recession. We were fortunate enough to find solutions to keep our small real estate law firm operating, but it wasn't easy. In order to build a sustainable economy that can withstand a pandemic, we have to invest in the backbone of our infrastructure: small businesses and the vocational workforce. But we also cannot wait another year for quality, affordable healthcare, affordable housing, nor a standardized living wage.
