Issue Position

I agree with the Republican platform: taxation should be as equitable, simple and minimal as possible. I support better utilization of all collected tax revenue and searching for ways to efficiently utilize current revenue.

During my first few years in the House, I have built a strong reputation for responsible tax policy with opposition to tax increases and burdens to Utahns. I opposed several pieces of legislation that would have increased tax burden on Utah citizens.
