Issue Position

Kansans have always relied upon the land for our livelihoods and way of life, so for the future of our state and future generations, it is essential that we are good stewards of the earth. Kansas is currently the number one state in the country for wind energy. We have the resources and infrastructure to do even more. Lindsay believes we need to invest in more renewables, reduce waste, and implement climate-resilient solutions, such as those outlined in MKCCAC's (Metro Kansas City Climate Action Coalition) Policy Playbook. We also need to support companies that take their environmental responsibilities seriously and ensure that they comply with existing environmental laws and standards.
