Issues: Environment
As an Eagle Scout, protecting our outdoors and being conservation minded have always been sincere priorities for me. I support current bipartisan initiatives in the legislature right now to put in place net zero carbon-based emissions by 2050, (S.2477), electrify MBTA and municipal vehicles while expanding the rebate program for those buying electric cars(S.2498), and updating efficiency standards for household products by 2035(S.2499). I would also support incentives for small businesses that are moving towards meeting renewable energy standards. I would also advocate for legislation that calls for moving our state government to 100% renewable energy by 2045 (H.2836) to preserve our Commonwealth and our planet.
