Issue Position

I will fight for a clear plan for the future of Memorial Hospital, a vital institution in our community, which for decades provided hundreds of good jobs. We need to keep health care services and jobs in Pawtucket.
I support community-based health care models like the Blackstone Valley Community Health Center. Access to affordable and quality primary care can give people options other than visiting emergency rooms for their health care needs and help us reduce the costs at our hospitals.
I support Senator Miller's very important legislative package to deal with the opioid and mental health crisis that is crippling our communities.
I support state legislation to make the state exchange permanent as well as Medicare for all -- we must find solutions because health care is a human right.
