I am the current chairman of the AGC (Associated General Contractors) of Kentucky's Opioid Initiative. This committee is tasked with educating our 600+ AGC member firms on the dangers of opioid abuse and we are taking steps to combat the issue. Let's work to find new ways to rehabilitate our friends who suffer from this disease, as well as put forth harsher penalties for dealers. Incarcerating those who suffer from addiction is not the way to go.
