Issue Position

With our children being our future, it is imperative that we as a community, state, and nation ensure that our children have the best route possible to succeed. As schools across this state become unaccredited, it is clear that there is a problem with our education system. It is also clear that the so-called "Common Core" proposal lacks common sense. As your State Representative, I will attack this problem by listening to parents, teachers, and even students to determine where we need to focus. Rather than lower educational expectations, let raise the bar high and see to it that our children can surpass those high expectations.
