Supporting our veterans has always been a top priority. Tim Schaffer wrote the plan to provide Ohio's service-disabled veterans with a property tax cut, helping the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms. And he helped pass legislation that guarantees spouses of soldiers killed in action receive increased benefits and college scholarships, and he worked to exempt military active duty pay, military pensions and surviving spouse benefits from income taxes.
