Mark has sponsored legislation to make discharging a firearm in cities with criminal negligence (such as the celebratory gunfire that killed an 11-year-old girl in Kansas City) a state offense and co-sponsored legislation to strengthen penalties against witness tampering and to establish a pre-trial witness protection program for Missouri.
