Issue Position

Karla will take on liberal trial lawyers who have found loopholes in the current law that allow them to file frivolous lawsuits against state and local governments because they know the governments will normally choose to settle out of court. Karla's plan is to cap the amount of money these trial lawyers can receive so that taxpayers will no longer be stuck with the bill of these frivolous lawsuits.
