It's Time to Fully Fund Public Schools

As a product of public education and stepmom to a 5th grader, I've witnessed and experienced the benefits of effective, well-funded public education. The most valuable gift you can give a child is education, and it's our responsibility to give Northland students every opportunity to succeed.

Under current leadership, our state legislature has continuously prioritized short-sighted tax cuts--which overwhelmingly benefit corporations and the wealthy--at the expense of public education funding. The COVID19 pandemic has further impacted our state's revenue structures, and Governor Parson has once again slashed hundreds of million in funding from our public schools.

Our children deserve better. If elected, I will stand up for our students, support educators, and fight to fully fund public education every chance I get.
