"I want Missouri to be a great place to live, open a business, and a place where every child has the opportunity to go out and pursue their dreams," Hurlbert explained.

As a state representative, Hurlbert vows to support measures that will help our state's infrastructure and small business.

"This district has two of the deadliest stretches of Missouri roads, Highway 92 and I-29. Improving the safety of our roads and bridges is a serious concern for the citizens of Clay and Platte counties. Infrastructure is also the most direct way the state can set the table for economic growth."

Other issues important to Hurlbert include topics such as tort reform, focusing state spending and maintaining Missouri's low tax status, protecting the right-to-life for the unborn, and upholding the second amendment.
