Whether it is the water we drink from the faucet or the lakes swim in, water plays an important part of our daily life in communities across District 43. Our state needs to do a better job protecting and purifying our waterways. Unfortunately, as the head water area of the Everglades-- Osceola often gets overlooked when it comes to funding and grant opportunities. I will fight to ensure District 43 receives funding for projects to clean and protect our water ways. We must also work to restore funding to control hydrilla growth so our lakes can be navigated safely and our ecosystem isn't clogged.
