Issue Position

Just like clean air and water, it should be a citizen's right to have access to affordable healthcare and affordable housing. No one should die because they can't afford the cost of a procedure that could save their life. No one should be living on the street because they can't afford to live in reasonable accomodations. This year I was able to protect the state affordable housing trust fund from being raided so that local governments will be fully funded to implement more affordable housing projects in Tampa Bay.
