Districts 14 and district's like it all across our state are disproportionately impacted by environmental justice and climate change. In many communities unhealthy food options are more affordable than their healthy alternative. Power plants and other emissions from toxic facilities are root causes of chronic illnesses that are effects of polluted air. Our state's climate is rapidly changing, hurricanes are more frequent and greater in strength, while temperatures achieve new same day highs and lows.

-Allowing scientific evidence on climate change to guide policy making
-Continue advocacy for the mitigation of contaminated land
-Reducing food deserts in District 14 communities by bringing more nutritious food options to residents through the establishment of community and home gardens.
-Utilize Florida Forever Funds for the purchase of land conservation
