Issue Position

Older adults and adults with disabilities have the right to remain active participants in their communities; to age with respect and dignity; to be protected from abuse, neglect, and exploitation; and to have equal access to health care. I support:

More affordable housing for seniors and assistance for seniors who prefer to stay in their own home

Increase funding for the Department of Health to import prescription medications from Canada (and perhaps other countries) through a wholesaler

Increase funding to report and pursue those who prey on senior citizens through scams and financial schemes

Repaving Corrales Road to make a safer environment for seniors
