Issue Position

Coloradans deserve access to quality and affordable health care. People should be able to go to a doctor when they are sick and receive prescriptions to be treated, but for too many, the co-pay is out of reach and prescriptions are unaffordable. This needs to change.

As a small business owner, I understand the unique challenges of obtaining health insurance and the cost that is associated with this. Right after graduating from law school, I could barely afford to pay for health insurance and the health insurance coverage that I did obtain barely covered any doctor visits or medications.

Because of these personal experiences, I've spent my professional career protecting the rights of families, and I'll continue that work at the Capitol to ensure every Coloradan has access to healthcare.
