Congressman Cohen Announces $1.6 Million in Housing Grants to Shelby County

Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that Shelby County will receive $1,197,084 in Community Development Block Grant (CBDG) funding and $447,723 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
"I'm pleased to announce this significant investment in housing and housing assistance for Shelby County. This funding will improve our housing stock while helping low-income residents with their rental payments during the ongoing pandemic. This funding is both needed and timely.
