Daniel is a leading voice pushing to make government more efficient, transparent and accountable. With over 7,000 units of local government in Illinois -- more than any other state in the country -- it is critical that we eliminate or consolidate many of these taxing bodies that are redundant, unnecessary or wasteful. Reforming local government by reducing administrative costs will provide relief to Illinois homeowners who continue to face unfair property tax increases year after year.
