Daniel supports equal treatment and full acceptance of the LGBTQ community. Our LGBTQ neighbors are more likely to become homeless, face incarceration, and struggle with mental illness. Illinois has made great advances toward treating all of its residents with respect, but there is much more we can do to ensure our LGBTQ neighbors are free from discrimination and treated with dignity in education, by law enforcement, and when they seek medical care.
