Easy access to quality health care should not be a privilege for a few.
We need to invest our resources wisely to keep our medical graduates in Nevada, and we need to attract expert medical professionals from other states. I've heard too many stories of friends or family going to other states to receive medical care. More qualified doctors in our state is key to expanding access to exceptional care.
Prescription drug costs have been a huge issue in recent years. The battle in DC will go on and on, but we can make progress here at home. I support real price transparency and plain language lists that include costs and options to give us a clear presentation of the care available to us.
