Hoeven Announces Child Care Funding In Response To COVID-19

Senator John Hoeven, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, today announced that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), has awarded $6,037,905 in Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) funding to the State of North Dakota. Today's funding, made available under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, will aid families and child care providers across the state during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency.

"As we continue to combat the coronavirus pandemic, today's funding will support our communities and families by helping to ensure access to child care," said Hoeven.
