Rep. Sharice Davids issued the following statement on House passage of the The Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act:

"I proudly stood with our brothers and sisters in the labor community today and voted yes on The Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, which would help hardworking Kansans by strengthening their basic right to band together and negotiate for higher wages, stronger benefits, and safer working conditions. It's an important step to creating an economy where everyone can get ahead.

"I'm glad that this bill also included many of the provisions I advocated for to ensure privacy and data security for personal information, as well as to prepare all our industries for the future of work. As our economy evolves and modernizes, we must continue to find ways to ensure everyone can participate. The PRO Act sets us firmly on that course."
