Guthrie Votes to Support Our Troops

Statement

Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) today released the following statement after voting in favor of the Fiscal Year 2020 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA):

"The brave men and women in our Armed Forces deserve nothing but the best. I was proud to vote for the Fiscal Year 2020 NDAA, which will give our troops a 3.1% pay raise, the largest increase in a decade. This bill provides resources to help military spouses find jobs, something I hear about often from the soldiers at Fort Knox, and it improves military housing policies. It also establishes a U.S. Space Force and allows President Trump to continue to secure our border. The NDAA is vital for the future of our military, and I thank President Trump for making our troops and our national security a priority."
