Giving Causeway money to other parishes must stop. Currently, the Causeway Commission pays an annual total of $350,000 to seven parishes and polices the Huey P. Long Bridge. Increased tolls on St. Tammany commuters are a hard hit on the pocketbook, so we need to ensure all toll dollars are spent on safety improvements and maintaining this important bridge.
