Issue Position

Mental health is an essential part of each person's overall health and wellbeing that deserves an equal standard of care as physical health.

Mental Health services in our State must be accessible and affordable for everyone in our lives struggling with their mental or behavioral health. As a key part of my agenda to improve mental health care in New Jersey, I am working hard to reduce the cost of mental health care by supporting legislation that prevents health insurance companies from providing less generous health benefits for mental and behavioral health services.
