Michigan's Infrastructure has been declining for decades. As state representative, I was proud to support budgets that increased our investment in infrastructure but we must continue to do more.
When I served as Vice Chair of the Appropriations Committee, I was able to work in a leadership capacity to put more emphasis on infrastructure funding in the state budget. As your State Senator, I will fight to ensure that we prioritize funding that we already have and direct extra revenue to our roads and bridges.
All Michiganders deserve better roads and bridges and I will make sure we get the job done without asking for more from taxpayers.
