Healthy citizens and a healthy environment make Michigan a better place to live. As an Industrial State, Michigan has numerous locations that have been contaminated with substances that create a risk to human health. Cleaning up these sites is important to the future success of our communities. Additionally, we need to protect the healthcare our citizens have and ensure those without healthcare receive it in the future.
