Issue Position

Every Arkansas child deserves a quality education, and while strong public schools are the backbone of our state's education system, no child should be forced into a failing school simply because of his or her zip code. Technology like computer-based learning and expanded broadband access must be integrated into all of our schools to adequately prepare students for today's college and job requirements. And finally, higher education must be a priority: Arkansas ranks at or near the bottom of citizens with a college degree. We need to double the number of college graduates by 2025.
