Issue Position

Opposes any new taxes and fees such an individual income tax or sales tax. NH has long taken pride on not having an income or sales tax and fiscal responsibility. There is no reason NH can not continue this tradition.

Supports Gov. Sununu's initiative to protect NH's businesses by fighting against the Supreme Court decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair that allows other states to force NH's businesses to collect and enforce its tax laws. The Wayfair decision undermined NH's sovereignty and state representatives failed to pass legislation to support Gov. Sununu's efforts to protect NH's businesses.

Supports lowering taxes for local / small businesses that provide jobs that are essential to NH's economy and requiring a super-majority vote to raise taxes.
