AGAINST: I oppose stricter gun laws.
As a former Marine, I understand the importance of self-protection and believe that people should have equal rights to the Second Amendment. I believe the importance of gun education and training would be more beneficial than stricter gun laws. I also find that stricter gun laws would lead to more delinquent behaviors, because those that want guns for negative reasons will acquire them elsewhere. Placing stricter laws on people will create negative perceptions for people. If violence becomes an issue here in NH, I believe there is more at play than what stricter gun laws could provide for this state.
