Issue Position: Criminal Justice Reform

Issue Position

My work as a prosecutor has shown me where the criminal justice system works, and where it doesn't. I want to reform the process to make it more clear and accessible. Every day I work to hold violent criminals accountable for their behavior, but I believe many minor offenders need to receive mental health, drug treatment, and other services to be rehabilitated into productive members of the community. I support comprehensive, evidence-driven criminal justice reform.
