Since 2004, Minnesota's median household income has declined by more than $3,000 per household. Under one-party DFL control, Democrats raised taxes by $2 billion, taking even more money out of family budgets. Tax hikes and unnecessary regulatory roadblocks hurt family budgets and hinder job growth in our state. This year, House Republicans voted for $900 million in tax relief for middle class families, students, veterans, farmers and job creators (2016 House Journal page 8900)
