Shenna believes that the number one economic issue facing our local communities is rising property taxes. Shenna introduced bipartisan legislation to lower property taxes by restoring revenue sharing, which she will continue to fight for in the coming session. She worked hard to successfully increase the Homestead Property Tax Exemption for homeowners by 33%, raising the exemption to $20,000 for Maine households.
