Issue Position

No matter how far I have come, I think back to my childhood. As a prosecutor, I see kids like me processed by the criminal justice system each and every day. We have to find ways to reach these kids so that they travel down the right road. For the last few years, I have been traveling throughout the area, speaking with kids in the foster system. I want these kids to know that they are not alone. If I could make it out, they can too. When I get to Annapolis, I am determined to be an advocate for these kids so no one ever has to go through what I went through.
