Issue Position: Reduce the epidemic of drugs in Lexington County

Our people, especially our children, face the curse of opioid, meth, and prescription drug addiction. As a former law enforcement officer, Chris Wooten knows we've pretended for too long the problem doesn't exist here. But it does. There's no magic solution to drug abuse. This fight is winnable. We must make sure we have enough men and women in uniform to find, arrest and prosecute drug dealers, as well as funding for effective treatment programs to lead people out of addiction.
