Issue Position

Lisa has spent much of her career working for social justice. Her work includes helping ensure low-income and homeless individuals and families have the opportunities and tools they need to succeed, fighting racial inequities in education and in our justice system, and fostering strong neighborhoods and communities throughout Madison. Lisa has advocated for restoring cuts to the Earned Income Tax Credit for working families, and as a member of the Equal Opportunities Commission, she worked to eliminate discrimination in employment, housing, and public services. As your State Representative, Lisa has worked to eliminate racial and socio-economic disparities by authoring and supporting policies that emphasize fairness and give every Wisconsinite the opportunities they need to achieve success.
