Issue Position

Our law enforcement and public safety professionals are working around the clock to keep us safe. It has never been a more dangerous time to be a police officer.

I am proud to say that I back the badge. I stand with our law enforcement and will find ways to empower our public safety.

It starts with being their champion. They need to know that the public supports them. Second, we need to get them the resources that they need. This doesn't mean spending more money but instead get them the equipment and training that they need to combat crime. Third, we need to find innovative ways to fight crime. Programs like community policing and new technologies will allow us to stop crime and keep our families safe.
