Issue Position

Stamford lacks sufficient opportunities for affordable housing, putting owning and renting out of reach for many.

We must promote affordable housing opportunities to keep our kids, young adults and seniors here in Stamford.

Support raising the state minimum wage to $15 per hour to alleviate economic stress on individuals, increase workers' purchasing power, and stimulate economic growth that benefits small businesses.

The state of Connecticut consistently shortchanges our public schools and this needs to stop. Our state has the duty to fund every child without regard to race, origin, economic status, or special needs.

We must end the unnecessary incarceration of our neighbors and stop the waste of taxpayer dollars caused by our current marijuana prohibition laws.

We need to put commuters first by increasing parking at the train station and keeping it close to the tracks.
