Issue Position: Honest Leadership for Arizona

As your elected Representatives in the Arizona State Legislature we understand the importance of protecting and defending the people of our district. We successfully worked for policies that helped to create more jobs and lower the unemployment rate. We also worked for adequate funding for police, fire and emergency services and we worked to improve educational opportunities for everyone.

Healthcare has also been an important issue. In the last election we promised you that we would protect healthcare in our communities so that families and individuals could have the vital care they need. Our district has been especially hard hit with healthcare problems. For example, a few years ago we had four hospitals, now we only have three hospitals, and two of those are in bankruptcy.

We have opposed Obamacare because it contains many empty promises and will not solve the serious crisis in our healthcare system. On the other hand we promised you that we would always do what is best for our district. We voted for a plan that does not raise taxes and will save our hospitals and provide better healthcare for everyone in our district.

We have appreciated your support and ask for your continued support. We are committed to be strong voices for you in the state legislature.
