Issue Position

"The Constitution.. assert[s] that all power is inherent in the people... that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed."- President Thomas Jefferson

I absolutely agree with our founding fathers on this issue. Yes, we do use our guns for hunting and self-defense, but the purpose of the 2nd Amendment is to defend the people against confiscation by a tyrranicalgovernment. I will reject any attempt by the enemies of liberty to take this freedom from our citizens.
