Issue Position: Immigration

Statement

We are a nation of immigrants. We are also a nation of laws. The vast majority of our nation's immigration problems stems from the fact that our current laws are not followed. Immigration can be a great thing, but only if we have clear defined policies in place that are actually followed. While in the legislature, I have voted to prevent Idaho from having "sanctuary cities," and I will continue to support legislation that ensures that immigration laws are followed and do not favor one group over another.
