While I am an avid hunter, I'll never tell you that the 2nd Amendment has anything to do with hunting. It doesn't. The right to keep and bear arms was written by our Founding Fathers not only for personal protection, but also for protection from tyrannical government. With that in mind, I firmly believe that the constitutions of the United States and Tennessee are the backbones that should protect all Tennesseans. The closer we govern within the confines of our founding documents, the stronger we are as a state. When we deviate from these restrictions placed on government, all parties suffer.
