As a parent, a former school board member and a state legislator, Sara has worked to ensure the best public education for our children. She was instrumental in increasing funding for K-12 education as well as increased funding for our community colleges. In the State Senate, we can count on Sara to:

Advocate for more workforce development programs at our community colleges.
Restore funding our K-12 schools so we can hire more teachers and reduce class sizes.
Work to make college tuition more affordable for deserving students.
