Nebraska is a high tax state, and this hurts us when competing with surrounding states for new businesses and jobs. I am committed to providing our hard-working families and businesses with meaningful tax relief including property tax relief and income tax relief, and the elimination of social security and military retirement income taxes. Broad based tax relief will grow our economy, create more quality jobs, and help keep our retirees and their valuable experience here in Nebraska.
