Issues: Senior Citizens
The population of those 65 and older in Colorado is expected to double to 1.2 million by 2030. We need to ensure our seniors are able to live dignified, independent lives and remain in their home if they choose. In Congress I will work to make sure that all of our seniors have access to the housing, health care, transportation and support services they need. I will be a strong advocate for social security and medicare, and will fight back against proposals to raise the age or add burdensome requirements for people to be able to collect these benefits.
