STATEMENT BY CONGRESSMAN JEB BRADLEY ON THE DEATH OF SUPREME COURT CHIEF JUSTICE WILLIAM REHNQUIST

"America lost one of its greatest and most well-respected legal intellects last night with the passing of U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist.

"Chief Justice Rehnquist has earned the appreciation of Americans across the country for his service to the Supreme Court and the nation. During his 33 years on the bench, Chief Justice Rehnquist was deeply committed to individual rights and upholding the Constitution. He led the Court with great dignity and integrity, and his leadership will have a lasting impact on the Court's history. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Rehnquist family during this time of mourning."
