Hatch on Gorsuch Filibuster: "Who can qualify under their rules?"

Senator Orrin Hatch, the senior member and former Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, joined Judiciary Committee Republicans in a brief press conference after the committee voted in favor of Judge Gorsuch's nomination. The nomination will advance to the Senate floor, where Gorsuch will be confirmed on Friday.

Speaking on Democrats' threats to filibuster Judge Gorsuch, Hatch said, "If they can filibuster somebody of the quality of Neil Gorsuch, who has the highest rating from the American Bar Association, then who can qualify under their rules?"
